Biography

SAMTWO is a bold new voice in Francophone Afrobeat, on a mission to spark conversations about taboo subjects without killing the vibe.

After discovering the impact of music in cinema in 2018, SAMTWO started with online freestyles that quickly gained traction across Africa. A freestyle during the African Cup of Nations went viral in Ivory Coast and was shared by Trace Africa. Another during the Qatar World Cup surpassed 3 million views on Facebook and Instagram. SAMTWO then dedicated two years to perfecting his craft, developing a style close to MHD's Afro Trap but with his unique touch. He debuted in 2025 with 'Addiction' (200K+ YouTube views, 6M+ social impressions) and continues to push boundaries with each release.
